April 2015 – Sword of the Spirit

Paul, the apostle (though not 1 of the 12), typed as the Church

The 12 apostles represent the 12 tribes

Paul, a Jew with Gentile citizenship, was one man who represented the one body in Christ (the Church)

Jesus kept the message of Grace, delivered by Paul, separate from the message of the kingdom (offering Christ to the Jews) which was delivered by the 12 apostles

The kingdom message had been (temporarily) replaced by the mystery of the Church

The kingdom message will resume when the Body is complete

Father, help us to –

be more effective for You
grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior
be more effective stewards of the opportunities You provide us
open Your Word to our lives
open our lives to Your Word
know Your will in our lives
live by the faithfulness of the Son of God to perform His life through us
present ourselves as open vessels for Jesus to live through
open our minds and illuminate our understanding of Your Word
have Your purpose be accomplished in our lives
remove all evil thoughts and feelings regarding our brothers and sisters
apply Your Word to our lives
seek Your Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts
put You first in our lives
make Your priorities our priorities

Father, Thank You –

for who You are
for choosing me before the foundation of the world
for drawing me to You
for Your creation
for coming into Your creation to purchase what is already Yours
for Your redemption
for Your imminent return
for Your return to set up and rule the Millennial Kingdom
for Your plan to reunite with us at the end of the Millennium
for being in everything
for Your Word
for giving us the Holy Spirit
for the gift of Your son Jesus Christ
for giving us as a gift to Your son Jesus Christ
for keeping us in Jesus’ and Your hands, and not losing any that have come to You

In the name of Yeshua, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, king of kings

Come to Jesus

Father I know I have need of You

I know that I have only been characterized by failure, clumsiness, and offense (offenses of omission as well as commission)

Father I know I need You

and Father I thank You for the gift of Jesus Christ, Whom I hereby acknowledge as my Lord and Savior

I ask You, to take over my life

I ask You, not only for His redemption but also for His lordship

and I ask You right now Father, to give me through Your supernatural Holy Spirit, the strength, the resolve, and all that it takes from this day forward to walk not by power nor by might but by Your Holy Spirit

That through Your Holy Spirit You would instruct me for all of those things that I don’t understand

and yet Father I thank You for the gift of that understanding as You choose to reveal it to me

I ask all these things Father, that I indeed might be hereby part of Your forever family in Jesus Christ
