Satan deceives us, even today, using 3 steps:
- He questions God’s Word; creates doubt – Genesis 3:1
- “…Yea, hath God said…?”
- Next, he denies God’s Word – Genesis 3:4
- “…Ye shall not surely die:”
- Then he substitutes his own lie and denies the deity of Christ – Genesis 3:5
- “…ye shall be as gods…”
and our response is rationalization – Genesis 3:6:
- the tree was good for food
- it was pleasant to the eyes
- and to be desired to make one wise
God has provided a way back to fellowship with Him:
- Accept Jesus as your personal savior – Romans 10:9
- Confess and repent your sins- 1 John 1:9
- and sacrifice them to Jesus as He has willingly paid for all sin to free us from the devil’s hold now and into eternity- 2 Timothy 2:21
- It is His faithfulness we rely on!!!
- He has always and will continue to do what He says!!!
- Come to Jesus, NOW!!!
Even so, come quickly Jesus
