Satan’s 3 Step Method

Satan deceives us, even today, using 3 steps:

  1. He questions God’s Word; creates doubt – Genesis 3:1
    • “…Yea, hath God said…?”
  2. Next, he denies God’s Word – Genesis 3:4
    • “…Ye shall not surely die:”
  3. Then he substitutes his own lie and denies the deity of Christ – Genesis 3:5
    • “…ye shall be as gods…”

and our response is rationalization – Genesis 3:6:

  1. the tree was good for food
  2. it was pleasant to the eyes
  3. and to be desired to make one wise

God has provided a way back to fellowship with Him:

  1. Accept Jesus as your personal savior – Romans 10:9
  2. Confess and repent your sins- 1 John 1:9
  3. and sacrifice them to Jesus as He has willingly paid for all sin to free us from the devil’s hold now and into eternity- 2 Timothy 2:21
  • It is His faithfulness we rely on!!!
  • He has always and will continue to do what He says!!!
  • Come to Jesus, NOW!!!

Even so, come quickly Jesus
