Jesus in the Old Testament
2 advents of Jesus Christ:
Purpose of the Great Tribulation – driving the Jews to the wall until they acknowledge their offense, which was rejecting God at His 1st coming (His offer – Matthew 4:17, their rejection – Matthew 12:24), and requiring them to seek Him for His 2nd coming. – Hosea 5:15
Satan targets believing Jews in particular because if he wipes them out no one will be around to seek God for His 2nd coming.
Jesus in the Old Testament
Everyone who looks to Jesus on the cross will be saved, – John 3:15, 2 Corinthians 5:21
just as everyone that looked upon the brass serpent on Moses’ staff was – Numbers 21:8, John 3:14
