Cain’s and Abel’s Sacrifices
Abel’s sacrifice was made by faith, – Hebrews 11:4, Genesis 4:4

Animal Sacrifice
God clothed Adam and Eve with coats of skin signifying that only by the shedding of innocent blood will sins be covered; pointing to Jesus shedding His blood on the cross to take away our sins. – Genesis 3:21
Jesus in the Old Testament

Parable of the Hidden Treasure
Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field. – Matthew 13:44
the treasure = believers, the body of Christ, the Church (not the buildings)
the field = the world, the creation
the man = Jesus
The kingdom of heaven is like the Church in the world; the which when Jesus predestined, He hid from the Old Testament, and then came into His creation to willingly give all that He had, and die on the cross to redeem His Church and Creation.
Jesus has bought us and the creation back with the blood He shed on the cross, and He will take final possession, with us following, after He finishes opening the seven sealed title-deed He takes out of the right hand of the Father. – Revelation 5:1, Revelation 5:7
Eternal Security
Believers:
We are a gift of God, which He gave to Jesus. – John 17:11
And, no one can take us from Jesus. – John 10:28
Nor can anyone take us from the Father. – John 10:29
Jesus won’t cast us out – John 6:37
It is the Father’s will – John 6:38
And, Jesus won’t lose any of us, but will give us eternal life – John 6:39
The Gospel
Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures. – I Corinthians 15:3
He was buried. – I Corinthians 15:4
He rose again the third day according to the scriptures. – I Corinthians 15:4
That is the Gospel, the good news, which justifies all believers before the bema seat of Christ.
