- A star falls from heaven to earth and he is given the key to the bottomless pit. After he opens the pit smoke comes out and darkens the sun and the air, then locusts come out of the smoke upon the earth. Power is given the locusts to torment, but not kill, men for 5 months like a scorpion when he stings with the exception of men sealed in their forehead by God. Nor should the locusts hurt the grass, ant green thing, or the trees. Death will not be found even though people will seek it.
- 4 angels are loosed from the Euphrates and they slay 1/3 of mankind by fire, smoke, and brimstone proceeding from their mouths, yet no repentance is found

- Poured into the air – out of the temple of heaven, a great voice from the throne proclaims “It is done”
