Philosophy = love of wisdom
Where it agrees with Scripture, it is unnecessary
Where it disagrees, it is wrong and therefore misleading
It has nothing reliable to offer (Col 2:8)
The source of wisdom is God (Jas 1:5) and His Word (Ps 119:105)
